John Kerry to Speak at IU

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will speak at Indiana University in Bloomington this month. He will address IU’s School of Global and International Studies to help celebrate the opening of the school’s new home on campus. The 165,000-square-foot building opened in August.
Kerry will talk about why American leadership abroad remains more important than ever and outlining priorities for U.S. foreign policy in a changing world.
"We are deeply honored that Secretary Kerry can join us to address major international issues and recognize IU’s and the state of Indiana’s commitment to providing students with the deep knowledge and sophisticated experience they need to be active, thoughtful and engaged citizens of the world," IU President Michael McRobbie said.
The event will be hosted by the School of Global and International Studies on October 15 at 11:00 a.m. It’s free and open to the public, but tickets are required.
