The Kokomo Jackrabbits have unveiled the schedule for their inaugural Prospect League season. They will open on the road May 27 against the Terre Haute Rex and are set to play for the first time at Kokomo Municipal Stadium, currently under construction, May 30. February 4, 2015

KOKOMO, Ind. – MKE Sports & Entertainment is excited to announce the Kokomo Jackrabbits 2015 schedule, game times and some of the talented college players that will make up the 2015 roster.

The Kokomo Jackrabbits will open up their inaugural Prospect League season on the road vs. the Terra Haute Rex, Wednesday, May 27th. The team will then travel to Quincy, IL for two game series vs. Quincy Gems, Thursday, May 28th and Friday, May 29th. The Kokomo Jackrabbits will take on the Danville Dans Home Opening weekend, Saturday, May 30th, 7:05pm and Sunday, May 31st, 3:05pm at Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

The 2015 Jackrabbits schedule features a number of weekend games for Kokomo-area baseball fans to enjoy, including five Friday (7:05pm) home games, five Saturday (7:05pm) home games and six Sunday (3:05pm) home games. Get Jacked for Wednesday and Thursday Night Baseball this season as four Wednesday (6:35pm) home games and seven Thursday (6:35pm) home games will bring the Prospect League’s best to Kokomo Municipal Stadium.

The Jackrabbits will be on the road every week of the Prospect League season with the longest road trip being seven games between Wednesday, July 22nd and Wednesday, July 29th. The team will wrap up the regular season at home with a two game series against the Springfield Sliders Wednesday, August 5th (6:35pm) and Thursday, August 6th (6:35pm). “The release of the schedule gets me even more excited for the start of the season,” said Kokomo Jackrabbits Field Manager Greg Van Horn. “New commissioner Bryan Wickline did a great job of making the travel as manageable as possible and providing each team with a consistent pattern of off days. We can't wait to get going and I hope everyone in Kokomo is marking their calendars for our home opener on May 30.”
