The 2019 IWiT Championship is scheduled for September 23-29, a month later than this year.
In an interview with Inside INdiana Business, Kuntz said the return demonstrates the event’s "great success." She added "as of right now, we are sticking with what worked best. The plan is to grow the events that we currently have slated and just make them bigger and better in 2019." Next year’s title sponsor will be Group One Thousand One, a life insurance provider which also sponsors the Fields & Futures initiative in Oklahoma City. It replaces Guggenheim, which was on the marquee for the first two events.
The 2018 purse was $2 million and the winner, Sung Hyun Park, earned a $300,000 check.
