Indy Again in Olympic Spotlight

Indianapolis-based USA Diving says events in Indianapolis will be featured as part of an "unprecedented" level of Olympic trials coverage. The organization says NBC and NBC Sports Network will devote nearly 20 hours in June to diving events. The 2016 U.S. Olympic Diving Team Trials will be held at the Indiana University Natatorium on the IUPUI campus.
Diving events are slated to take up more than one-quarter of the NBC and NBCSN programming slate, most of which will air in primetime on one of the two networks. If not on live television, all U.S. pre-Olympics events from NBC Sports Group will air on the station’s NBC Sports Live Extra online streaming channel.
Eight events involving Team USA diving trials will air in primetime beginning with synchronized men’s springboard and synchronized women’s platform semifinals on June 18 and continuing with synchronized semifinals and finals and men’s and women’s springboard and platform semifinals June 23. NBC will air coverage of finals events June 25.
