Indianapolis to Host Indiana Arts Homecoming

The Indiana Arts Commission is announcing that Indianapolis has been chosen to host the third annual Indiana Arts Homecoming. This year’s event will take place October 24-25 at the Indiana Historical Society.
The theme for the 2019 Indiana Arts Homecoming is Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Access: Arts for All. The statewide conference will challenge artists, art educators, community leaders and other participants to explore what "Arts for All" can mean in action.
More than 300 people from over 40 Indiana counties attended the 2018 Indiana Arts Homecoming last October in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
“The response to the Indiana Arts Homecoming has been beyond expectation, and is confirmation that community leadership from every corner of the state, in both rural and urban areas, recognize the community and economic development benefits of the arts. Arts partnerships help all communities prosper and creatively solve problems, and this convening shows some of the best and most creative success stories from our artists, arts and civic organizations, and communities,” said Lewis C. Ricci, IAC Executive Director.
