Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Nasdaq Spotlight

Melangton has been with the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 2014.

The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will mark the end of the trading day Tuesday afternoon in New York City. Senior Vice President Allison Melangton will ring the closing bell at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square.

Nasdaq hosts some 3,900 listings that represent a market value of approximately $12 trillion. Prior to serving as an IMS executive, Melangton was president of the Indiana Sports Corp. lead the successful bid for the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis and was president and chief executive officer of the 2012 Indianapolis Super Bowl Host Committee. Her previous experience also includes more than 11 years with Indianapolis-based USA Gymnastics serving as an associate producer for NBC Sports for multiple Olympic Games broadcasts. Melangton joined the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2014.
