The 25th season of "the most listened-to sports talk show in the state of Indiana" kicks off Friday night. Network Indiana’s Indiana Sports Talk has been hosted by Bob Lovell, an Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame coach and broadcaster, since its inception. The show features interviews from key figures in high school, college and professional sports, as well as live scoreboard updates.

Lovell is a Plainfield High School graduate who has degrees from Franklin College and Butler University. His career includes serving as men’s basketball coach at Franklin and IUPUI, where he was also athletic director for most of his tenure. Lovell is a member of the IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame, Plainfield High School Hall of Fame, Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Hall of Fame and Indiana High School Basketball Hall of Fame. He was the 1999 Indiana Sportswriters and Sportscasters Broadcaster of the Year and 2003 Indiana High School Athletics Association Distinguished Media Award winner.

The show is carried on dozens of Network Indiana affiliates throughout the state.
