Indiana Companies Ranked Among Fortune’s ‘Most Admired’

Three companies from the Hoosier State are included in Fortune’s 2022 list of World’s Most Admired Companies. The annual corporate reputation ranking is based on Fortune’s poll of about 3,700 corporate executives, directors, and analysts.

Indianapolis-based Anthem Inc. (NYSE: ANTM) is ranked the highest among the Indiana companies at No. 70 on the list. Indianapolis-based Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY) is ranked No. 205 and Fort Wayne-based Steel Dynamics Inc. (Nasdaq: STLD) is ranked No. 284.

Overall, big tech continues to dominate the list. For the third consecutive year, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft rank No. 1, No. 2, and No. 3, respectively.
