IBRI Appoints Lechleiter to Board

John Lechleiter has been added to board of directors of the Indiana Biosciences Research Institute in Indianapolis. The former chief executive officer of Eli Lilly and Co. (NYSE: LLY) also currently serves on the boards of Ford Motor Co., Indiana Economic Development Corp., Nike Inc. and United Way Worldwide.

Lechleiter retired from Lilly in 2016. IBRI CEO Rainer Fischer says "John’s collaborative and complementary vision was vital in the establishment of the IBRI. His scientific and business acumen as well as his vision for innovative technologies and new product development will be invaluable as the institute continues to grow."

The industry-led institute was first launched in 2013. You can connect to more about Lechleiter’s board appointment by clicking here.
