Several high schools in Indiana are included on an annual America's Most Challenging High Schools list. The rankings from the Washington Post follow a formula based on the number of students taking Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests. The Indiana schools that placed in the top 1,000 on the list are:

283. Herron High School in Indianapolis
