Brownsburg-based Fab2Order has acquired a longtime precision machining company in Monrovia. As part of the deal, the metal fabricator has relocated Winners Circle Engineering Inc. to Brownsburg Eaglepoint Business Park, and relaunched it as a separate division called Machine2Order.
Fab2Order has more than 40 employees and over 400 customers. The company has kept on previous Winners Circle employees and says it has added a small number of new workers throughout the expansion process.
Chief Executive Officer and co-founder Jason Greeson says "we saw an opportunity for continued growth into the machining industry. We are now able to offer our customers both metal fabrication and precision machining, and can determine which is the most cost effective option for each customer and project individually."
Fab2Order says it has invested $1.2 million into the acquisition, as well as new equipment and facilities. Plans also call for adding talent to the Machine2Order operations.
Each operation will have separate management teams that will be under Greeson. Fab2Order was founded in 2000 and the former Winners Circle Engineering was established 30 years ago in Morgan County. Fab2Order reported $7 million in sales last year.
