Hoosier Companies Among ‘America’s Best Employers’

As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowForbes has released its list of America’s Best Employers for 2019. The Hoosier state was represented on the list by 12 companies, including Eli Lilly and Co., Cook Medical and NiSource among others.
Parkview Health was the only organization in Indiana to be named to the list for the healthcare and social services industry.

Forbes partnered with market research company Statista to name companies liked best by employees in its annual ranking of America’s best employers.
The ranking is divided into two lists: one for the top large companies with more than 5,000 U.S. employees, and another for the top midsize companies with 1,000 to 5,000.
The top large companies by rank in Indiana were:

- 51. University of Notre Dame
- 58. Shoe Carnival

- 346. Barnes & Thornburg
