The system says the new center will enhance treatment for patients undergoing breast care by providing all needed services in one location.
The new space will offer services including genetic testing and 3-D mammography. Hendricks says, while each office has a separate, private waiting room for the comfort of patients and their families, the back areas are fully integrated to promote seamless care. The center will house the Center for Breast and Bone Health at Hendricks Regional Health, Hendrick’s Regional Health Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Hendricks Regional Health Breast Center.
Hendricks will hold an open house for the health center on Wednesday, October 5.
In April, Hendricks broke ground on a $48 million medical center in Brownsburg. That facility, expected to open next year, will house an emergency room, radiology services and a comprehensive women’s center.
