Greenwood to Toast Newest Major Employer

A ribbon-cutting for a facility expected to eventually bring on more than 870 jobs is Thursday in Greenwood. Dia & Co., an e-retail business focused on plus-size women’s apparel, is investing $2.76 million in its Johnson County distribution center.
The company has hired 200 employees so far and plans to add the remaining hundreds of Hoosier workers over the next four years. Thursday’s 9 a.m. ceremony will include Indiana Economic Development Corp. President Elaine Bedel and Greenwood City Council President Mike Campbell along with company officials.
Dia & Co. is headquartered in New York and deals in "hand-picked pieces delivered right to your door."
