Governor Mike Pence has appointed three people to the Ivy Tech Community College Board of Trustees. The appointees will each serve three-year terms. November 5, 2014

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Governor Pence recently named the following individuals as trustees to the Ivy Tech Community College Board of Trustees:

-Kimra A. Schleicher, of Clark County, has been appointed to serve a three-year term through October 31, 2017. Schleicher is the Vice President of Operations and Human Resources at AJS, Inc. Schleicher received her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and her Juris Doctorate from Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

-Darrel D. Zeck, of Vigo County, has been appointed to serve a three-year term through October 31, 2017. Zeck is the Director of Business Development and Government Relations at Stark Industries in Terre Haute, IN. He is a life member of the Air Force Association and the National Guard Association of Indiana.

-Lillian “Sue” Livers, of Jefferson County, has been reappointed to serve a three-year term through October 31, 2017. Livers is the Director of the King’s Daughters’ Hospital (KDH) Foundation, and received her bachelor’s degree from Manchester College and her Masters degree from University of Louisville.

In addition, the Governor made the following appointments:

Unemployment Insurance Board

William Fredericks (Madison County), appointed to serve a four-year term through March 31, 2018

Horse Racing Commission

William McCarty (Monroe County), appointed to serve the remainder of an unexpired term through September 1, 2017

Commission on Minority & Women Business Enterprises

Remo Mezzetta (Marion County), appointed to serve a four-year term through October 31, 2018

Code Revision Commission

Steve Simcox, appointed to serve a two-year term through October 31, 2016
