Carmel-based CuroGens Inc. is planning to double its work force over the next four years as part of a global expansion. The motor vehicle industry software provider has launched offices in Spain and Canada and will add to an existing location in India.

CuroGens says it is also on-pace to double its revenue year-over-year as its client list continues to grow. Chief Executive Officer Jesper Kehlet and Chief Technology Officer Sumanth Dama founded the company in Kehlet’s kitchen in 2012. The company now employs some 50 workers globally and could add 10 more by the end of the year.

Its clients includes large Indiana-based recreational vehicle manufacturers, which use its mv360 software to allow customers to order custom-configured components and includes real-time sales, warranty and service data sharing.

In part, Kehlet attributes the company’s success to being "open to all kinds of ideas but it’s got to be something new because I’m not here to do the same thing that everybody else is doing."

In 2014, the company expanded its Clay Terrace office space. It is a Tier-1 provider in Microsoft’s Cloud Solution Program, which allows it to more competitively sell cloud services. "As the key point of contact for all of our customers’ needs, this certification allows us to offer deeper support as well as more flexibility and choices in business intelligence solutions. Overall, we’re better equipped to help our customers use technology to succeed in business," said Kehlet.

See the unseen: The silent crisis of youth homelessness in central Indiana

It is a startling fact that an estimated 7,800 youth experience homelessness in our city every year. These aren't just statistics; they represent the lives of young people, each with a story, a dream, and the potential to thrive if given the opportunity. The shock factor lies in the magnitude of this issue – the magnitude of despair, isolation, and uncertainty that thousands of our city's youth grapple with daily....
