Indianapolis, Ind. — A former church camp in Cloverdale, Ind. will be sold at auction on July 10, 2013. The site, Camp Otto, was owned by Meridian Street United Methodist Church, who used it as a youth and family camp for more than 40 years. Camp Otto was sold by Meridian Street UMC in 2007 and is currently in foreclosure.

The 44-acre property, which includes a seven-acre private lake stocked for fishing, borders both the Lieber State Recreation Area and the Owen-Putnam State Forest. The property is suited for use as a corporate, private or church retreat. Its nine buildings, including a 3,100-square-foot lodge, can accommodate more than 60 guests. It is located six miles south of I-70, less than 50 miles from Indianapolis, Terre Haute, and Bloomington.

The absolute auction, in which the property will be sold regardless of the final bid amount, is schedule for 11 a.m. on July 10 at the camp: 12334 Camp Otto Road, Cloverdale, Ind., 46120.
