Fleet Management Company Growing

Indianapolis-based Earthwave Technologies says it will invest $1.2 million as part of an expansion. The company, which develops wireless fleet management systems for customers that use heavy equipment, says it expects to add up to 56 new jobs by 2022. Earthwave Technologies’ headcount is currently 33 and the additional office space will house the new sales, hardware, software development and customer service jobs.
Construction on the expanded headquarters began in December and includes updated information technology infrastructure and doubling its 8,000 square-feet at 8727 Commerce Park Place on the northwest side of Indianapolis. The 18-year-old company’s Fleetwatcher product is designed to help contractors with heavy equipment management, fleet utilization and productivity.
Chief Operating Officer Jim Hutchins says "we’re enthusiastic about continuing to grow Earthwave Technologies in Indiana. As we grow, we’ll continue to invest in our products like Fleetwatcher to ensure our customers have the tools they need to operate efficiently. We’re also proud of our team at Earthwave Technologies, and we’re confident that the workforce in Indiana will continue to supply hardworking, industrious people as we expand our team."
The company has been offered nearly $600,000 in conditional tax credits and training grants through the Indiana Economic Development Corp. You can connect to more about the growth plans by clicking here.
