First Holcomb-Era International Delegation to Depart

Friday, June 9, 2017 03:51 PM EDT Updated: Monday, June 12, 2017 08:58 AM EDT
First Holcomb-Era International Delegation to Depart Holcomb says the Regional Cities Initiative is part of his administration's agenda.

The first international trade mission of the Governor Eric Holcomb administration will begin Monday. The Indiana delegation will be in Hungary and France through June 21. The itinerary will include a trip to the Paris Air Show.

As governor-elect, Holcomb led a December trade mission to the United Kingdom.

Officials say a detailed itinerary of the mission in Hungary and France will be released when the group departs. When the trip was first announced earlier this month, Holcomb said the trip will provide an opportunity to "strengthen relationships with global job creators while forging new partnerships to advance economic growth and further diversify our dynamic economy."

Holcomb recently returned from a domestic, tech-focused visit to the Silicon Valley that included a speaking engagement at the global Infosys Confluence event in San Francisco that coincided with the company’s selection of One America Tower in downtown Indianapolis as part of its major U.S. expansion.
