Even More Jobs on Deck For Fishers

Even More Jobs on Deck For Fishers Fishers Mayor Scott Fadness

The city of Fishers is poised for another big jobs announcement. During his State of the City address Wednesday, Mayor Scott Fadness said he will be detailing plans Thursday involving around 500 jobs. This announcement builds on plans by STANLEY Security Systems and Braden Business Systems to relocate headquarters operations to the Hamilton County city. Mayor Scott Fadness will be a guest this weekend on Inside INdiana Business Television.

The proposals by STANLEY and Braden involve a combined 390 jobs and approximately $22 million in investments. The projects will go before the City Council Monday for a vote to consider approval of abatement and fee waiver agreements.

Fadness says the Thursday announcement will bring "good-paying" jobs to Fishers. He says by day’s end, the total number of new jobs pledged through the first month-and-a-half of the year will have exceeded combined totals from 2015. Fadness says 2015 was a "tremendous year" for economic development.

Inside INdiana Business will provide updates to Thursday’s scheduled announcement as it comes available.

If the headline sounds ominous, that’s by design. This is not hyperbole. The United States is funding numerous Chinese companies—many with ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Chinese military. This is the very country which, by all accounts, is posing the most serious threat to our national security in our lifetime....
