The Economic Club of Indiana has unveiled its 2014-2015 speaker lineup. The schedule includes Caterpillar Inc. (NYSE: CAT) Chief Executive Officer Doug Oberhelman and Indianapolis Colts Coach Chuck Pagano.

Indianapolis, Ind. — The Economic Club of Indiana is celebrating over four decades as Indy's premier forum for discussion of topics on public interest and policy, and its recently announced 2014-15 speaker lineup does not disappoint. This season's slate is full of nationally renowned scholars and celebrities and covers a wide variety of topics with a little something for everyone.

This year's speakers, presented by title sponsor Lumina Foundation, are Chuck Pagano, David Fanning, Douglas Oberhelman, Mark Miles, Dan Evans, Admiral Dennis Blair, Anne-Marie Slaughter, George Ayittey, and Myron Gray.

The season kicks off on Tuesday, September 16th with Doug Oberhelman, the CEO of Caterpillar Inc., who has been leading the international company to enact positive change across the globe. Next, on October 23rd, is Anne-Marie Slaughter, author of the widely read “Why Women Still Can't Have it All” as well as President and CEO of the New America Foundation. On November 14th, George Ayittey, award- winning author and President of the Free Africa Foundation, comes to spread his message of building towards a better Africa. Next, 34 year Navy veteran and Former US Director of National Intelligence Admiral Dennis Blair will be taking the stage on December 16th. Bringing in the new year, the CEO of Hulman & Company Mark Miles is set to speak on January 30th, followed by the President and CEO of Indiana University Health, Dan Evans, on February 17th. On March 19th, US Director of Operations for UPS Myron Gray will be making an appearance, and, to wrap up the season, Indianapolis Colts Head Coach Chuck Pagano will be speaking during the month of April and the executive producer of FRONTLINE, David Fanning, will close the season on May 7th. Each of these luncheons begins promptly at noon and will all be held at the Indiana Convention Center.

Through a partnership with WFYI Public Media, each speaker’s presentation will be recorded by FM 90.1 and rebroadcast on the first Monday of each month in addition to being posted on the station’s website, www.wfyi.org.
