Documentary Follows Torchlit Trail

A 37-minute documentary following the 3,226 mile journey of the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay has been released. It was produced by the Ball State University Department of Telecommunications and commissioned by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development.
The documentary was part of the year-long Bicentennial Celebration that culminated last month with a statewide celebration. The relay covered all 92 counties, crisscrossing the state through 260 towns and cities.
Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay State Director Noelle Szydlyk said "this documentary pulls together what the Bicentennial Torch Relay team experienced every day on the road. The video captures some of the special moments with torchbearers, county coordinators and the relay crew, in each of our 92 counties."
The relay started in September in the state’s first capitol, Corydon. It wrapped up around a month later in Indianapolis at the new $6.3 million Bicentennial Plaza.
