Diners Give Indy Steakhouses High Marks

Two well-known Indianapolis steak houses have received national recognition. St. Elmo Steak House and Harry & Izzy’s Steakhouse are among this year’s 100 Best Steakhouses from OpenTable Inc.
The top choices were narrowed down from more than 20,000 restaurants throughout the country. The online reservation platform analyzed reviews from more than five million verified diners to create a list that of spots "that deliver a high-end dining experience that is singular and soothing all at once."
St. Elmo and Harry & Izzy’s are "sister" restaurants, which share some of the same menu items. St. Elmo was established in 1902 and Harry & Izzy’s opened in 2007 and also has locations on the city’s far north side and at Indianapolis International Airport.
