A northwest Indiana development company has announced plans for a massive lifestyle center in Crown Point. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report the proposed “Crown Point Galleria” will include two hotels, dining and retail space. Hawk Development Corp., which unveiled the plans last week to the city's plan commission, says the assessed property value will be worth an estimated $100 million.
Vice President Todd Kleven believes the property will get a boost from the proposed Illiana Expressway.
The retailer is expected to return to the plan commission to begin the approval process within the next two months.
