Connersville to Break Ground on Senior Housing Community

Subscribe NowThe former Connersville Furniture Company and Roots Pattern Shop will soon be transformed into a senior housing community called Pattern Mill. Officials will break ground Monday on the $6.3 million project.
Pattern Mill will feature 40 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartment units. Mecca Companies and Crestline Communities are the co-developers of the project.
“We’re honored to have been selected to restore this site so it may serve residents who will appreciate the significance of making such a historic building their home,” Mecca Companies CEO Kyle Bach said.
The site is located at 1220 Illinois Avenue in Connersville. The event will start Monday at 4:00 p.m. Pattern Mill is expected to open in August 2016.
