A think tank and networking group focusing on innovation in central Indiana is planning a Day of Innovation conference. Indiana will celebrate innovation this August with Centric's Day of Innovation conference. This exciting one-day event allows innovation leaders and practitioners from all backgrounds to converge and learn from a diverse group of people. It is open to anyone who looks to elevate their organization's innovative thinking.

The event takes place August 28 at the Hilbert Circle Theater and will feature keynote speaker Jeff Baxter, co-founder of Steely Dan and lead-guitarist of the Doobie Brothers. Baxter is now a consultant for the Pentagon on counter-terrorism. Learn from Jeff “Skunk” Baxter how to think non-linear in a linear world.

Other speakers include Doug Boles, President of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway; Peter Wilt, President of Indy Eleven; and Joe Van Deman, entrepreneur and former Strategic Operations Manager at Google.
