Business Leader Joins UIndy Board

The University of Indianapolis has added South Carolina-based South Coast Paper President Kenneth Loyd to its board of directors. The board has also elected its officers for 2016-2018.
Loyd co-founded South Coast Paper in 2000. The company also has a facility in Maplesville, Alabama and sales offices in Atlanta, Houston and New Orleans. His career also includes a stint as the first African-American national sales manager in the 105-year history of Champion International Paper. Loyd says leadership from President Robert Manuel and Board Chair Yvonne Shaheen has "positioned the institution for continued growth."
