University of Notre Dame leaders are heading to Washington, D.C. next week and will hear from Vice President Joe Biden. Biden and other military, journalism and business leaders will speak at the school's symposium.

Vice President Joe Biden will deliver remarks at a symposium for University of Notre Dame leaders Tuesday (April 14) in Washington, D.C. The vice president’s remarks will take place at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, 1150 22nd St., N.W. Logistical information for members of the media interested in attending the vice president’s remarks is forthcoming.

Notre Dame hosts a symposium every other year in the nation’s capital to hear from leaders in the government, military, journalism, business, higher education and other fields. Past speakers include former Chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, New York Sen. Chuck Schumer, White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough, Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, Arizona Sen. John McCain, former White House Chief of Staff Bill Daley and former Secretaries of State Condoleezza Rice and Hillary Clinton.
