Assisted Living Home Set to Open This Month, Add Jobs

A new assisted living and memory care community for older adults is expected to open in Noblesville later this month. When fully occupied, Heritage Woods will provide 78 full-time and part-time jobs.  

The $25 million development was designed for seniors who need assistance but also want to maintain their independence.

“We will be providing older adults with a wonderful alternative to a nursing home or to struggling alone at home,” said Heritage Woods Administrator John Robison.

The four-story, 105,000 square-foot building will house 124 private studio and one-bedroom apartments, combining residential apartment-home living with the availability of personal assistance, medication administration. It will also offer support services such as meals, housekeeping, laundry and transportation.

Residents will occupy private apartments that they decorate and bring their own furniture to. The apartments will feature a kitchenette, bathroom with shower and grab bars, individually controlled heating and air conditioning and an emergency alert system.

Heritage Woods will also offer a community room, a dining room, sun rooms, walking paths in the courtyards, a library, computer lounge, onsite general store and other amenities.

Certified nursing assistants, working under the direction of a licensed nurse, will be on-duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
