Argos Steps Up Marketing Efforts

A small Indiana town is boosting its effort to attract new residents. Argos, which is located in Marshall County, has released a promotional video showcasing the town’s quality of life and economic development features as part of an ongoing initiative.
The town’s population is less than 2,000. The video highlights points of interest including the town’s solar park and an industrial park. Marshall County Economic Development Corp. Chief Executive Officer Jerry Chavez says "we’ve got so much to offer – one of the best schools in the state, a supportive community, and a good location – everyone should get the chance to see that." He was interviewed in the video and "they own their own utilities, they have their own electric, they have put a very aggressive economic development policy in place. This community has deliberate plans to grow jobs in the area. They want to be business partners going forward with industry coming in."
Mishawaka-based marketing firm Big Idea Co. produced the video this summer.
