$18M Infusion Will Help Tech Company ‘Scale’ Up

Chief Executive Officer Jeff Ready says the investment, led by Baltimore-based ABS Capital Partners, will "escalate our business plan and further penetrate the mid-market."
ABS Capital Partners has offices in Baltimore and San Francisco. As part of the deal, two if its partners, Laura Witt and Bobby Goswami, will join the Scale Computing board.
Scale Computing says its "hyper-converged solutions" create an "all-in-one appliance-based system."
Witt says the investment will help Scale Computing "implement growth strategies that will better allow them to deliver their innovative solutions quickly to midmarket organizations around the world."
The company has more than 1,000 customers in industries including health care, education, manufacturing, financial services and government.
