With a $10.3 million federal grant for state efforts to increase health information technology, Marion and Hamilton Counties are the first in the country to connect its paramedics to an electronic medical records network. IU School of Medicine Dr. JT Finnell says this electronic medical records network can be key for large events like the Final Four and the Super Bowl.
