Marian University has named John Hoopingarner director of cycling performance. He has been involved in the cycling industry over the past several years, working for Indianapolis-based SRAM and SILCA. The university also announced Dean Peterson, who has led the program full-time since 2006, will remain director of cycling, but is stepping into a new role with the Klipsch Educators College as the program manager for City Connects. Also, Michael Kubancsek will continue in his roles as director of cycling operations.
