Greater Fort Wayne Inc. Launches Leadership 2.0
Greater Fort Wayne Inc. has officially launched its Leadership 2.0 program. Officials say the program is intended to help Allen County residents further develop their leadership skills.
The Leadership 2.0 curriculum works from the current Leadership Fort Wayne program, and offers tools and techniques that help participants be more confident leaders within their organization.
The program includes leadership assessments, selected books, and a training manual and materials.
Lessons are taught in half-day meetings, twice per month for six months.
To be eligible for Leadership 2.0, one must be a graduate of Leadership Fort Wayne or the Young Leaders of Northeast Indiana Leadership Institute, currently work and/or live in Allen County, have the full support of their employer and be committed.
"Our current Leadership Fort Wayne program does a great job of immersing participants in our community and inspiring them to serve," said Brenda Gerber Vincent, GFW Inc.’s VP of community and corporate impact, in a news release. "Leadership 2.0 is designed to take that next step and focus on the ‘hard skills’ that propel leaders to a higher level."
Meetings for the new program start in January 2020 and space is limited to 16 members. For information on applying, click here.
