ERAPSCO Awarded Military Contract

The joint venture between Columbia City-based Ultra Electronics Holdings plc and Illinois-based Sparton Corp. (NYSE: SPA) will manufacture and deliver sonobuoys. The sonobuoys are electro-mechanical anti-submarine warfare acoustic sensors designed to relay sounds associated with submarines and ships.
Approximately half of the work for the contract, which is not to exceed $1,041,042,690, will be done in De Leon Spring, Florida and the other half in Columbia City and is expected to be completed in September 2025. The Naval Air Systems Command in Patuxent River, Maryland is the contracting activity.
