Three Indiana organizations are included in Computerworld’s 2019 list of the 100 Best Places to Work in IT. The ranking, which divides the companies among large, medium, and small organizations, is based on company and employee surveys, as well as factors such as benefits, career development and retention.

The University of Notre Dame is the highest-ranked Hoosier organization in the "large" category at number 13. Warsaw-based Zimmer Biomet Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ZBH) follows at number 27.

"It is an honor for Notre Dame to be recognized for the seventh consecutive year in Computerworld’s prestigious listing," John Gohsman, vice president for information technologies and chief information officer, said in a news release. “The University’s commitment to create a positive and welcoming environment is key to attracting and retaining exceptionally talented individuals. I am proud to be a part of an organization dedicated to delivering modern, secure and reliable IT services for our students, faculty and staff."

The NCAA, which is headquartered in Indianapolis, ranks sixth among "small" organizations. There were no Indiana companies in the "medium" category.
