Jay County Names Winners of Innovation Competition

Subscribe NowThe Jay County Chamber of Commerce Foundation has announced the winners of the 2019 High School Innovation Competition. Each winner took home a cash prize and received feedback on their innovation from a panel of judges.
Judging the contest were Dan Hsu, Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Xian Cao, Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship, both at Ball State University and Tom Glidden of Ivy Tech Community College.
The winners are:
- First place $500: Garrett Mann, Mann’s Bale Binder
- Second place $250: Jordan Schricker, Jonathan Rockwell, Cole Younger and Ben Strausburg, Tri-Axle Cart
- Third Place $100: Cody Knisely, Alex Davis and Orlando Martell, Karcass Kart
