Goshen Schools Receives Green Ribbon Schools Award

The Green Ribbon Schools award honors school that have made an impactful effort to reduce environmental impact and costs, improve the wellness of students and staff, provide environmental and sustainability education as well as STEM, civic skills and green career pathways.
“Preparing children for a successful future means teaching lessons both inside and outside the classroom,” said Jennifer McCormick, Indiana Superintendent of Public Instruction, in a news release. “I congratulate Goshen Community Schools for creating an atmosphere stressing the importance of personal and external sustainability through physical well being and environmental care and concern.”
