Baril Coatings Receives Approval For Expansion
Angola-headquartered Baril Coatings has received approval from the Angola Board of Zoning Appeals to construct an industrial warehouse. According to The Herald Republican, Baril proposes a $1.4 million investment that will create five new jobs.
The publication reported that the area proposed for the addition, which is the west side of the current building, is the only suitable area for Baril Coatings to expand its current site.
“We’ve outgrown our current facility,” Dave Harmon of Baril Coatings told the publication. “The new facility will be used for a warehouse and shipping.”
A tax abatement request for the project will go before the Angola Common Council on May 6.
