The Combine will feature workshops, networking opportunities, showcases and discussions with venture capitalists and entrepreneurs during the three-day event.
The Combine is being held at the Monroe Convention Center in downtown Bloomington. This year’s event features expanded programming, including skill-building for coders and tailored Bloomington experiences via five field trip options.
Organizers say The Combine has connected more than 1,800 innovators, creators and investors since its launch in 2010. Mike Trotzke, co-founder of The Combine and vice president of Humanetrix Foundation Inc., a nonprofit that produces the event, says the core idea of the conference is to "foster a culture of innovation by intentionally mixing different people of varying skill levels and functional roles together."
