Indianapolis-based CICOA Aging & In-Home Solutions has announced Chief Executive Officer Orion Bell will resign effective April 12. Bell has accepted the position of president and CEO of the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging in Cleveland.

Bell’s tenure has seen the annual budget double, and he says that serving as CEO of CICOA has been a high point in his career.

“Together, the staff and volunteers have accomplished many great things. We have seen tremendous growth in our services. And we have developed a reputation locally and nationally as a leader in collaborations with healthcare to address social determinants of health and the Triple Aim of better care, better population health, and lower cost. I am proud of the things we have accomplished, and I am grateful and humble to be part of the team that made all this happen”, said Bell.

The CICOA Board will conduct a nationwide search for a successor. CICOA’s Chief Operating Officer Mary Durell will oversee the transition until the appointment of a new CEO.
