The third-generation-owned company will add new equipment and improve the facility near its headquarters. The company says the improvements will allow for additional flexibility and ability to produce a more diverse set of parts. The expansion will more than double the company’s capacity.
"We’re proud of the company we’ve built here in Fort Wayne," said Warren Franke, owner of Franke Plating Works. "We’ve been in business for almost 90 years, and we’re still going strong. As we grow, we remain committed to our longstanding principles: competitive pricing, quick turnaround time and consistent client communication from our dependable staff."
The company currently employs about 50 associates in Indiana and his hiring for many positions, including fork truck operators and production operators. Additional plans call for adding up to 17 new jobs by the end of 2022.
