St. Vincent de Paul Society Partners with Comfort Sleep

Subscribe NowThe St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Joseph County Inc. will provide 40 beds in 40 days to local children in need. In partnership with Comfort Sleep of Mishawaka, the St. Vincent de Paul Sweet Dreams Ministry says it will further its goal of ending childhood bedlessness.
Children between the ages of 3 and 17 who need a bed can be refferred to the program by social workers or other social service agencies. Each child will receive a new mattress, bed frame, pillow, linens and a handmade blanket.
“Every child deserves a good night’s sleep,” Anne Watson, executive director, said in a news release. “More children in our community than you can imagine are sharing beds with several siblings or sleeping on the couch or the floor. We are proud to be able to assist families in our area provide a safe and clean bed for their children.”
