Dickinson Fleet Services Grows Chicago Footprint
Indianapolis-based Dickinson Fleet Services is spreading its reach further into Illinois. The company has acquired Highway Express Trailer Repair Co., marking the sixth acquisition in the last 10 months for DFS alongside its majority shareholder, Ridgemont Equity Partners.
Financial terms of the acquisition are not being disclosed.
Highway Express Trailer Repair Company’s 21,000 square foot shop facility will provide Dickinson Fleet Services with its third shop facility in the Chicago market. The shop facility as well as additional mobile repair capacity will give DFS the resources it needs to provide semi-trailer repair in the Chicago area.
“Dickinson has become a leader in the industry by offering unmatched scale, innovation and the same commitment to best-in-class customer service as Highway Express. Joining Dickinson Fleet Services will allow Highway Express to expand its semi-trailer repair service and offer additional mobile repair capabilities to the Chicago market,” said Marian Piecek, Owner, Highway Express Trailer Repair Company in a news release. She will be joining Dickinson Fleet Service as Regional Service Manager and be heading up the semi-trailer repair service in the Chicago region.
Dickinson Fleet Services, which provides mobile truck maintenance and repair services throughout the country, acquired companies in Florida and Michigan last year.
