Former Senator to Teach at Notre Dame

Subscribe NowAs part of the University of Notre Dame’s effort to put real-world experience into its classes, the university asked a former U.S. Senator to teach two one-credit courses this semester. The South Bend Tribune report one course will be in political science and the other will be in the Keough School of Global Affairs.
Former U.S. Sen. Joe Donnelly will be taking on the title of ‘professor of the practice’ at the University of Notre Dame, where he himself earned bachelor’s and law degrees.
Donnelly was elected and served as a U.S. senator for Indiana from 2013 to 2018. He ran for re-election, but was defeated in November by Republican Mike Braun.
