Partnership Created For Irvington Plaza Redevelopment

Subscribe NowThe Department of Metropolitan Development in Indianapolis has announced a partnership with the Urban Land Institute for a five-day planning exercise for Irvington Plaza and a portion of the former Ford/Visteon site. The two organizations will consult with land use and urban planning experts to create a plan for the redevelopment of the east side sites.
ULI will also open a dialogue with a community stakeholders and Indianapolis real estate developers, brokers, attorneys, planners, city leadership, local business owners, neighborhood residents and community organization leadership to discuss the planning.
“We are excited to partner with ULI on this important project,” Emily Mack, director of the department of metropolitan development said in a news release, “Our goal is to explore the future potential and possibilities of these sites and identify any next steps that DMD can take to help start the process of encouraging redevelopment.”
