South Bend-based Midwest Orthotics and Technology Center has rebranded as Transcend Orthotics & Prosthetics. The company, which has six different names and 13 locations, is making an effort to combine all their clinical offices under one brand name.
Transcend provides orthotics and prosthetics services for children and adults. They sell their products to healthcare providers, therapists, school systems and hospitals to identify the patient’s specific needs.
“Today we have a new name to better reflect the scope of our service and our renewed sense of purpose,” said Bernie Veldman, CEO of Transcend in a news release. “But what we do now is what we have always done, provide individualized solutions designed to optimize independence, functionality, mobility and enhanced quality of life for all our patients.”
