Downtown Indianapolis restaurant Osteria Pronto, which is located on the ground floor of the JW Marriott, will this weekend relaunch as OP Italian. The rebrand will focus on authentic and rustic Italian dishes.

“OP Italian is an exciting new take on an Indy classic,” said Patrick Dugan, General Manager of OP Italian. “With the relaunch, we focused on building a menu around fresh-made pasta, fresh seafood, slow-cooked meats and authentic Neapolitan-style pizza. We are getting back to our traditional, rustic Italian cooking roots.”

New Executive Chef Joseph Rolling comes to the restaurant after nearly a decade at 5-diamond and Michelin-starred restaurants, including The French Laundry and Morimoto. White Lodging opened Osteria Pronto in 2011, and opened a second location in Austin, TX in 2015, which was also been rebranded this month as OP Italian. The official relaunch of the Indianapolis location begins Sunday, February 10.

In particular, the impact of quality of place on talent attraction and retention in a geographic area cannot be ignored. The future of every community is dependent on quality of place. Like many Midwestern states, Indiana is not growing at the same pace as areas in the southern and western regions of the United States.
