Fishers-based CEDIA has named Ian Bryant senior director of technology application and innovation. A veteran of more than two decades in custom AV and integration, Bryant most recently ran the Indianapolis office of Detroit-based ZenArray. The company specializes in consulting, design, programming, and installation services. His background includes serving as a technology subcontractor for residential, corporate, government, and hospitality projects.

Bryant’s new role with CEDIA involves close collaboration inside and outside the global organization. Responsibilities include: serving as CEDIA’s technology education working group liaison; active involvement with CEDIA’s Technology and Standards department to develop new content for education; and functioning as the staff lead on all technology associated with CEDIA Headquarters.

Bryant is the 2017 CEDIA Volunteer of the Year and 2011 CEDIA Education Volunteer of the Year. He has served as a subject matter expert for the organization since 2008. He has spent three years as CEDIA Awards chair and has been a judge since 2008.
