Conexus Indiana Launches Statewide Speaker Series

Subscribe NowConexus Indiana has announced the launch of a speaker series focused on technology’s impact on manufacturing and logistics. The series is titled Movers, Makers and Mixers and will include events in Indianapolis, Bloomington, Lafayette, Terre Haute, Evansville and South Bend over the course of the year.
The events will explore how Industry the fourth industrial revolution is changing manufacturing and selling. Each event will feature a speaker who focuses on manufacturing or highlights the evolving role that technologies including automation, electrification, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence play in the industry.
“Helping young adults and others in our state appreciate the impact and opportunity offered by the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries is one of our key areas of focus,” said J. Mark Howell, president and CEO of Conexus Indiana said in a news release. “By providing thoughtful and conversational events in college towns across the state, we will provide a broader understanding of our key industries and the exciting career opportunities they provide.”
The first event in the series is at Sun King Brewery in Indianapolis on January 24 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., and the featured speaker is Clay Robinson, a co-founder of the beer manufacturer.
